An open letter to a man who would be king...
Megalomania goes before a fall, because it's a head trip...
meg·a·lo·ma·ni·a| ˌmeɡ(ə)lōˈmānēə | noun
• obsession with the exercise of power, especially in the domination of others.
• the delusional belief that one is important, powerful, or famous, as a form or symptom of mental disorder.

You,
Admittedly, you are important, powerful and famous. You are the President of the United States of America, a position that you are redefining more than any president before you. Has there ever been a president of the United States who has so openly flouted our laws, our traditions, and bottom line, the soul of our system of government? I don’t know. Ask a historian.
Either you are willing to protect our democracy, or you’re not. And it sure looks like you are not. How can you say ‘Make America Great Again’ when you don’t want America, as we know it,* to exist? I’ve always felt that your real meaning was Make Me Great Again.
*Okay, I admit that ‘as we know it’ means ‘as I know it’ which means ‘my possibly Pollyana-ish version of what actually makes America great, in spite of its many flaws.’ It has nothing to do with the raw exercise of power. It has to do with the raw exercise of creative endeavor.
How tragic for us that you have projected your needy sense of self onto the whole country/world instead of a few golf courses and tall buildings.

Your administration is a bunch of liars who make the most idiotic, false and deceptive statements without flinching. All those people throwing away their integrity by kissing your feet and other places are not only an embarrassment to the species, they are short-term thinkers who will find themselves on quicksand any day now.
Because what you and they want is unrealistic. A perfect society of comfort, safety, and abundance for you and your minions dependent on the dark energies of hate and fear, on an ‘enemy’ who must be conquered without conscience or compassion, is an oxymoron. In other words, you have to be a moron high on oxy to think your little plan is going to work. It’s not. To believe that you might be able to control and dominate everyone, everything (and still have time for golf) is a hallucination.
If You Don’t Dominate, You’re Wasting Your Time
Domination is a game for fools because its endgame ends the game. There’s no there there. The I-got-a-hammer-and-that’s-all-I-got approach is so focused on immediate gratification that it cannot see dynamic systems — cause and effect. It is a short-term solution that answers to the will, at the expense of understanding.
Oh you poor man… so poor with all your gold-plated accoutrements. All the golden toilets in the world will not save your ass from the humiliation, and worse, of going down in history as a villain.
I’m not really writing this to you. I’m writing to illuminate the fatal flaw in any project with domination as a goal. Reality, in the form of time and natural vitality, does not yield to domination.
I don’t know what will happen. I only know that your program will never work, not for long. Newton’s third law of motion (Whenever one object exerts a force on another object, the second object exerts an equal and opposite on the first) is already showing itself in action.
Your ‘reign,’ if you want to call it that, will be seen in the future as an aberration, a warning, a tragedy.
It’s possible that your extreme abuse of the system will help to clarify the need for a new way of designating right from wrong, that leaves behind ‘my god is bigger than your god’ and ‘brute force is on my side’ in favor of ‘what is right is what is sustainable.’
Sustainable means working with multiple energies to find balance, rhythm, harmony and space for unfolding and inherent transformation.
It means a deep humility for us, who are so clever and stupid at the same time. It means paying earnest attention to how things are, so that we can guide ourselves into true responsibility as stewards of this planet.
The penetrating light of real, not artificial, intelligence, combined with the wisdom of the heart, spontaneously deconstructs gimme gimme gimme conceptual systems held together only by the weak glue of greed and fear. When there are enough of us it will happen. It is happening.
Only collective moral force can unite the world. Such great times of unification will leave great achievements behind them. I Ching Hexagram 45. Ts’ui / Gathering Together (Massing)

I resonate with what you wrote. This is incredibly insightful and articulates exactly what so many of us feal.
Wonderful. Thank you. Would be interested in your thoughts on retribution. Seems to "dominate" so much of the administration's agenda.
